Expect bigger artists, better music, and the most elaborate show to grace the festival circuit when High Definition returns at the end of the month.

Now in its third year, the festival is set to be the best one yet after organisers managed to secure the talented singer/songwriter Labrinth to play at the site in Hainault.

Twelve thousand people will descend on Forest Farm, Forest Road, on June 29 to hear the likes of Katy B, Ms Dynamite and Maya Jane Coles.

Organiser Danny May, who set up the festival alongside friend Jason King, said: “Over the past three years the festival has grown considerably. We managed to sell 2,500 tickets before we even announced the acts – which was incredible.

“The production side of things has always been key to us and we can do something so much bigger because of the size of the festival.

“We are really taking it to the next level.”

Fresh from his UK tour with Plan B, Labrinth is lined up to perform a set full of his huge hits, including Pass Out, Let The Sun Shine and Last Time.

Danny, of Rush Green, Dagenham, said: “We are really hoping we can build on the great reputation we created in 2012, as it was such a brilliant atmosphere. The acts set to perform on the main stage are much more mainstream than previous years. While our second stage will be second to none for the best dance music out there.

“It offers something for everyone from the age of 18 to 40.”

The audience can expect high-end sound systems, full-colour laser systems, pyrotechnics, stadium glitter launchers and hundreds of moving lights are set to illuminate the Redbridge skyline.

Danny added: “My highlight this year is likely to be when Labrinth sings Earthquake. I think it will be really something to see and visitors will have to make sure they’re at the stage for that.

“We also have an adrenaline fairground and an extra field so we can really add to the experience.”
