Club add Leslie Wood Plate to recent Thornton Cup win
Wanstead Golf Club added silverware to their ever-expanding trophy cabinet with victory in the Leslie Wood Plate Final at the testing Crondon Park Golf Club.
Following their recent success in the Thornton Cup, Wanstead lost their first-round match against a strong Braintree club, but successfully won their next three matches.
The triumphant team secured the trophy with victory over Stableford Abbotts in the final.
