Thomas McCurtains men’s football team had a mixed week in the AIB London League Division Two, winning one of their two games and losing the other.

Against Garryowen in Ruislip on Sunday, the Goodmayes club eased to a 3-18 to 3-9 victory thanks to goals from Mark McGirr, Conor Sullivan Paudie O’Shea.

That allowed McCurtains to bounce back from a defeat earlier in the week after losing 0-21 to 2-13 against Neasden Gaels, despite goals from Tom Keane and McGirr.

The men’s footballers host St Josephs in the league in Goodmayes at 4.30pm.

McCurtains’ hurling team, meanwhile, were beaten 3-15 to 1-15 at home to Fr. Murphy’s in the AIB London League Division Two, despite David O’Lone netting.

The hurlers welcome Granuaille in the league on Saturday at 3pm.

The camogie team face Fr Murphy’s in the Intermediate Championship on Sunday after losing 3-13 to 0-3 against Tara in the semi-finals of the Mixed League.
