Essex Three Under-15s Cup final: Epping 10 Wanstead 38

Wanstead under-15s ended their season by winning the Essex Three Cup after beating Epping 38-10.

Harry Turner scored the opening try for the young Herons, which Sam Castle converted, but they only led 7-5 at the break.

In the second period, Wanstead really turned on the style as they scored a total of five tries in the half.

The young Herons were awarded a penalty try, while Jaime Espinoza also crossed early in the half, before Epping scored one of their own to make it 19-10.

From there, Wanstead could have crumbled, but maintained their composure and were helped when their rivals were reduced to 14.

Dylan West, Andrew Jones and Sid Robinson all scored tries before the end of the game to cap a superb cup success for Wanstead.
