Eton Manor have two difficult matches coming up, but they go into them following four consecutive victories

Jamie Connors is aware Eton Manor will face two tough games when they take on a couple of clubs currently in the top four of the London One North over the coming weekends.

The New Wilderness outfit will host second-placed Colchester on Saturday with both sides eager to keep hold of their undefeated record.

And then after entertaining their old foes, Connors will take his squad to Norfolk to do battle with fourth in the table North Walsham.

It is a tricky run of fixtures, but third-placed Manor go into the contests with plenty of confidence after five wins out of six this season with the other clash a 24-24 draw at home to H.A.C.

Connors, speaking after the 39-0 away at Ruislip on October 6, said: “It is always nice to go into a week off with a win. The boys deserved the break.

“Unfortunately we couldn’t quite hold on against H.A.C otherwise we would have gone into the break with maximum points, but we are only two points shy of where we could have been.

“It bodes pretty well for the next few weeks and when we return we have two tough games with Colchester at home and Walsham away, so they will be good tests.”
