The latest news from the Thomas McCurtains GAA club

Saturday looks set to be an important day for Thomas McCurtains, with both their hurling and women’s football teams in finals.

The Goodmayes club will hope their hurlers can triumph at McGoven Park on Saturday when they face Fr. Murphy’s in the AIB London League Division Two final at 4pm.

On the same day, McCurtains’ women’s footballers meet St Anthony’s in the final of the Tom O’Connor Cup in Greenford.

Both teams will be hoping they can lift the silverware in their respective finals to give the Goodmayes club a weekend to remember.

The women’s football team will look to hit back in the final after being beaten 5-12 to 1-6 by Round Towers in the London Intermediate League last week.

The club are always on the lookout for new players, with Gaelic football and hurling teams for both men and women from under-eights up to adults. Email for more information.
