A round-up of the first round of matches in the Ilford Social Centre Darts League

Barkingside Royals kicked off the new Ilford Social Centre Darts League season with an impressive triumph in their opening fixture.

All of the sides in the division were hoping to get their respective campaigns off to a flier with a victory in their opening game.

Royals did just that as they were the big winners in the first round of matches, beating Eastwood 9-4 in their encounter.

The opening round of matches also saw Lainy’s Mob begin their season with a clash against Cruisers.

It was Lainy’s Mob who came out on top, however, as they eased to an 8-5 success over Cruisers.

The other match in the opening round of matches saw Parks take on Beeehive Arrows.

That match also ended with an 8-5 score as Beehive Arrows claimed the success over Parks to get their season off to a winning start.

All sides who triumphed in the opening round of fixtures will look to build on those successes in their next game.
