Thomas McCurtains’ men’s footballers warmed up for this weekend’s Mullarkey Cup final with a victory over St Anthony’s in London Division Three.

The Goodmayes club recorded a 0-12 to 1-7 league victory over St Anthony’s, with their attention now switching to facing Eire Og in Saturday’s final in Ruislip at 4pm.

Elsewhere, the women’s camogie team were prolific in front of goal as they edged John Mitchells 7-5 to 3-15 in the British Championship.

Next up for McCurtains’ camogie team is another British Championship clash against Fr. Murphy’s in Greenford this Saturday.

The women’s football team are busy as they host Fr. Murphy’s on Thursday and tackle Holloway Gaels on Saturday, both in the London Intermediate Championship.

Preparations, meanwhile, are well underway for McCurtains’ annual fun day on July 15, which is free to all.

On the day, there will be entertainment, matches and a raffle at their Goodmayes Hospital Sports Ground base.
