The latest news from the Thomas McCurtains GAA club

Thomas McCurtains’ camogie team have reached the semi-finals of the British Mixed League following the latest round of group stages matches.

The Goodmayes club were in Manchester for their final two group stage games, beating John Mitchels 6-2 to 3-2, before losing 3-8 to 1-2 against Fullen Gaels.

However, that was still enough to see McCurtains through to the final four, with the fixture to be played this weekend.

Elsewhere, the men’s hurling team recorded a 4-13 to 2-9 success over Kilburn Gaels B in AIB London League Division Two.

McCurtains’ hurling team are in action again this Sunday when they play Fulham Irish in the Ronan Cup quarter-finals in Wormwood Scrubs at 12.30pm.

The men’s football team also have a quarter-final to prepare for as they play Harlesden Harps in the Shiels Cup in Greenford at 3.30pm on Saturday.

It looks set to be another busy weekend for all associated with the club.
