The latest news from the Thomas McCurtains GAA club

Thomas McCurtains under-14 football team were prolific in front of goal as they beat St Clarets 4-13 to 2-15 in the London ‘B’ Championship final.

The youngsters impressed from start to finish in Greenford last Wednesday and certainly give the Goodmayes club hope of a bright future.

The men’s senior football team, meanwhile, have an opportunity to win silverware themselves on Sunday when they play in the London Division Three final.

The match is scheduled to take place at McGovern Park in Ruislip at 12.30pm, with Dulwich Harps the opponents for McCurtains.

A day earlier, the hurling team face St Declans at 2.30pm in Wormwood Scrubs in their latest London Intermediate Championship outing.

New players are always welcome to join the club, with Gaelic football and hurling teams for both men and ladies from under-eights up to adults.
