The club, who currently play in Harlow while their Ashtons Playing Fields home is completed, have five games over the next 14 days

After nearly two weeks off, the fixture list has not been kind for Woodford Town as they are set to play five times between today (October 17) and October 30.

Dee Safer’s men are due to visit Southend Manor in the Essex Senior League this evening having not played since beating Takeley 2-0 on October 5.

After making the trip to the seaside, the Woods will face a test on Saturday when high-flying Saffron Walden Town visit the Harlow Arena.

The tough games keep on coming for the young side as they are due to finally play in the London Senior Cup next Tuesday (October 23).

Woods were drawn away to Southern League Premier Division South outfit Met Police and after being forced to move the tie previously, it is now set to occur next week.

It will present Town with a chance to test themselves against a higher level club and they will also fancy their chances of an upset.

Woodford will then play on two more occasions before November to bring a packed month of October to an end.

The start of this busy spell occurs tonight and Safer will want to see his players begin as they mean to go on.
