Redbridge suffered a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Woodford Town at the Oakside Stadium.

A goal from midfielder Bryan Kyungu in the 82nd minute wasn’t enough to earn them anything from the match and ended up being a consolation goal.

Town got off to a strong start as Samir Ali found the net in the ninth minute of the game before Billy Tarrant doubled their lead four minutes later.

Woodford stretched their lead to 3-0 thanks to Temi Babalola in the 78th minute before Kyungu pulled one back for the Motormen.

Redbridge will now host high-flying Walthamstow at the Oakside on Tuesday evening as they bid to get their season back on track.

While Woodford Town will return to action against Essex Senior League strugglers Tower Hamlets at the Harlow Arena and will be keen to make it three consecutive wins in the league.
