Son of Leyton Orient legend Tommy Taylor taking ProPath training session in Seven Kings
Lee Taylor, the son of former Leyton Orient and West Ham legend Tommy Taylor, will be hosting a training session with ProPath Football Academy tomorrow (Saturday).
The session will take place at Seven Kings High School, starting at 10am and the academy runs for under-threes to under-12s.
Lee Taylor, who has been with Liverpool, Orient and Notts County before, is a physio and sports conditioning coach.
He has recently been working at the Indian Premier League, but is returning to his roots this weekend to give youngsters a training session.
Lee Taylor is now based in Nottingham and although O’s supporters may not be so familiar with him, they will remember his father.
Tommy Taylor played for the Brisbane Road club in the late 60s before moving to West Ham and winning the FA Cup.
He returned to Orient in 1979 and remained with the club for another three years before managing them between 1996 and 2001.
His son Lee Taylor will now be hoping to play a part in developing the next generation at the ProPath Football Academy.
The Academy was set up by Paul Fairey and Chris Perkins in April and they already have 160 boys training and enjoying the advanced coaching they provide.
