Braces from dynamic strike duo Luke With and Tyrone Scarlet propelled Barkingside to their biggest win of the season at Great Wakering Rovers.

Side opened the scoring in the match through With who put away his first of the night in the 27th minute.

The visitors were pegged back just five minutes later as Dan Trenkel struck for the hosts and the teams went in level.

Barkingside went ahead again through Scarlet 17 minutes into the second half and never looked back.

With doubled the visitors’ advantage with his second of the match in the 68th minute to give Side control of the game.

And the win was wrapped up four minutes from time when Scarlet struck again to give Barkingside a first win in six matches, which coincidentally was when they last played Great Wakering.

Barkingside: Bechet, Hayes (Bunga 74), Wright, Nikolaou, Spencer, Wren, Nzengo, Gray, With, Scarlet, Lataaya

Redbridge’s troublesome form continued as they lost for the 13th consecutive match in the Ryman North, the latest coming away to Phoenix Sports.

It began so well for the Motormen as they took the lead in the 16th minute through Jay Knight.

Sadly that was as good as it got for the visitors as Phoenix levelled it up with Christie Pattison’s goal in the 29th minute.

Alistair Gordon struck six minutes later to send the hosts into the break 2-1 to the good.

Ricky Freeman struck 23 minutes after the break for Phoenix to extend their lead before they made sure of the points when Harrison Carnegie struck three minutes from time to extend Redbridge’s woe.

Redbridge: Avery, Cornelius, Alexandrou, Ogunleye, Dorgu, Good, Gent, Kabashi, Stevens, Knight, Prince

Subs: Francis, Smith, Drake, Faponle
