Free Puma footballs are to be given to all new teams that enter the Soccersixes league at Woodford’s Woodbridge High school.

The league has four spaces available for their Monday night competition and as part of the initiative, all teams will receive a top-of-the-range Puma match ball to keep.

Soccersixes development director Matt Scoffham said: “We are extremely pleased to have secured a sponsorship deal to enable all our teams to have free footballs and also for us to use the Puma match balls at the league.”

Local 11-a-side teams who wish to enter will receive six free Puma match balls when they join and there is no entry or registration fee to play in the league, which is refereed by qualified officials with all equipment such as balls, kits and bibs provided.

There are plans for two eight-team divisions, with promotion and relegation, and teams can also take part in the S6 Super Cup.
