Motormen looking for third win in four

Redbridge boss Dave Ross believes his side’s recent unbeaten run will help them overcome Cray Wanderers.

The Motormen have not lost in three matches following their 2-1 win over Tilbury at the weekend.

And Ross is hopeful they can keep the momentum going when they host the Wands on Tuesday.

“Our form should makes us favourites to beat Cray but we know it’s going to be a hard game,” insisted Ross.

“They are rebuilding but in a lot of games they’ve been leading at half time. We’re not going to underestimate them.

“We’ll set our stall our like we’re playing Needham Market or Harlow Town. They are fighting for their lives. If they lost to us, that could be it for them.”

The visitors are currently 23rd in the table and have scored just 48 times this season, the fourth-worst record in the league.

Despite this Ross expects the Bromley-based side to look for goals when they arrive at the Oakside Stadium.

“They will come with an attacking team, which will suit us so that’s not a problem,” added Ross.

“They will play similar to how we do. It should make for an interesting game for the fans.

“I expect them to be hard working and looking for a win but we always want three points.”
