Essex Senior League: Redbridge 3 Stanway Rovers 3

Redbridge let a 2-0 lead slip as they were pegged back for a 3-3 draw with mid-table Stanway Rovers in their Essex Senior League clash.

A brace from Larry Asare and another from Terrell Miller was not enough to seal the three points as the Rovers scored three second-half goals at the Oakside Stadium.

The hosts got off to a dream start when Asare found the back of the net in the fourth minute before Miller doubled his side’s lead to 2-0 in the 35th minute.

Ricky Eaton’s side took the lead into the half-time break.

Rovers Marley Okosi then netted two consecutive goals in the 52nd minute and 69th minute to level the score line.

The Motormen restored their lead in the 74th minute when Asare grabbed his second of the night.

Rovers then equalised to earn a point out of the match as Danny Nesbitt scored in the 89th minute.
