Essex Senior League: Sawbridgeworth Town 3 Redbridge 1

Redbridge have their three game unbeaten run brought to an end as Sawbridgeworth Town sealed a 3-1 win thanks to a brace from Joey Wright and former Motormen man Sipho Mtyanda.

An early goal from Remi Nelson meant very little as The Robins hit back with three goals of their own to seal the three points at Crofters End.

The returning Nelson fired home to give the visitors a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute of the match but Wright levelled the score in the 38th minute to take a 1-1 draw into the half-time.

Former Redbridge striker Mtyanda came back to haunt his old side as he slotted home in the 58th minute to give the hosts a 2-1 lead.

Wright then added a third for the Robins with eight minutes left in the match to seal the 3-1 win for his side.
