Redbridge progressed into the second round of the FA Vase with a 4-1 victory against league rivals Southend Manor.
The Motormen bagged £825 in prize money after sealing a comfortable win at Southchurch Park despite a consolation goal from Manor’s Nathan Dewberry in their first round tie.
They will now be in the hat for the second round and the draw will be made on Monday afternoon.
Redbridge will also return to league action on Wednesday evening when they make the trip to the Mile End Stadium to face Sporting Bengal United.
They will then return home to the Oakside Stadium to face St Margaretsbury on the weekend.
Manager Ricky Eaton will be hoping his side can build on their Vase victory in their two league fixtures this week and start climbing up the Essex Senior League table.
They currently sit 14th after a mixed start to the campaign.
