Redbridge grabbed a late goal to win 3-2 at Stansted and seal their progress in the BBC Essex Senior Cup.

The Motormen will now take their place in the hat for the third round of the cup competition after just getting through their second round tie at Hargrave Park.

Goals from Vinny Murphy, Michael Ogboin and a late 89th minute winner from Bryan Kyungu cancelled out a Callum Ibe double for Stansted.

Ibe netted an early goal for the Aiportmen after making a run at the defence and unleashing a fierce shot that beat the Redbridge keeper Lewis Greene.

The Motormen soon levelled the score thanks to Vinny Murphy who curled a free-kick into the top corner of the net.

Ibe then netted his second of the match just before half-time to give the hosts a 2-1 lead going into the break.

The visitor’s striker Ogboin levelled it for Redbridge two minutes into the second half as he found the back of the net.

Then with a minute left to play midfielder Kyungu scrambled the ball home from close range.

Neighbours, Ilford were in Essex Senior League action and managed to seal a 2-2 draw against Sawbridgeworth Town, despite going down to 10 men.

A brace from Yemi Adelani earnt the Foxes a point and kept them sitting third in the table.
