The home side doubled their advantage midway through the first half when Barker-Francis ran onto a through ball to chip over Sole.
And it was 3-0 on 33 minutes when Barker-Francis turned provider to set up Chris Gibbs to fire home from 15 yards.
That left Martin Haywood’s men with a mountain to climb in the second half but the scoreline remained unchanged until the last minute when Barker-Francis completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot, after Jeff Williams-Baah had been fouled.
Ilford will look to bounce back when they welcome Takely in another league fixture on Saturday, but will have to be on their guard after the put seven goals past Sporting Bengal last weekend.
Ilford: Sole, Lucas, Graves, Hill, Osingige, Melim, Cowan (Depass), Hobbrough (Barker), Lockwood, Nelson, Dingli (Luck).
