Essex Senior League: Haringey & Waltham 0 Redbridge 2

Redbridge stretched their unbeaten run in the Essex Senior League to six games with a 2-0 win away to Haringey & Waltham.

The Motormen had a short turnaround between games, having beaten local rivals Barkingside 4-2 on Tuesday, but showed little signs of tiredness.

However, despite a plethora of chances for the Oakside Stadium club were unable to find a breakthrough in a goalless first half.

Redbridge did finally take the lead in the second half, though, when Jay Knight netred after a spell of pressure.

The Motormen doubled their lead soon after through David Sangolo to all but end the match as a contest.

In truth, Redbridge should have had more than two goals, but were unable to make the most of their chances.

But having made it two wins in three days, joint-bosses Dave Ross and Ricky Eaton are unlikely to be too troubled.
