Barkingside fell to a 3-2 defeat to Wadham Lodge and slipped further into a relegation battle with just seven games left in the season.

Lodge netted a stoppage time winner in a dramatic finale to bag a huge three points at Cricklefield Stadium.

It began well for the hosts as they took the lead on thirteen minutes when after a fine string of passes the ball was guided to the back post, where Mathieus Santos slotted it home.

Lodge came back into the game and saw new signing Paul Oshin get them back on level terms ten minutes before the break.

The visitors then managed to grab the lead when Sherwin Stanley picked out Stefan Wright at the back post who fired home.

Raphael Duyile then headed the ball into the back of the net to make it 2-2.

In the 93rd minute substitute Rujorn Tuitt netted from outside the box to seal a 3-2 victory and give them a fighting chance of avoiding relegation.
