Leyton Orient welcome Hartlepool United in the Vanarama National League on Saturday, knowing a win could take them to the top of the pile.

The O’s returned to winning ways last Saturday with a 2-0 success at Maidenhead United, much to the delight of boss Justin Edinburgh.

Dagenham & Redbridge, meanwhile, will hope to end a run of four straight league defeats when they play host to Wrexham this Saturday.

Peter Taylor’s men saw their rotten run continue with a 2-0 defeat at Gateshead last time out, with questions now starting to be asked of the Daggers manager.

West Ham United, meanwhile, take the weekend off with no scheduled match in the Premier League owing to the international break.

The Hammers saw their recent resurgence come to an end last Friday as Manuel Pellegrini’s men lost 1-0 at Brighton & Hove Albion.

All this, plus the latest from the Bostik Premier and below, is discussed on a Non-League Day special episode of the East London Football podcast.

Ned Keating is joined by George Sessions, Jacob Ranson and Dave Evans to mull over another week in east London football.
