Dagenham & Redbridge slipped to a second straight defeat in the Vanarama National League with a 2-0 loss away to Solihull Moors.

Daggers boss Peter Taylor made just one change following Saturday’s loss at Eastleigh, with Noel Leighton replacing Tomi Adeloye in attack.

The Essex club went behind in the 20th minute when home forward Danny Wright pounced an error in the away defence before netting.

Daggers conceded a second in the 89th minute, with Jermaine Hylton finding the target for Tim Flowers’ men.

The Victoria Road outfit return home on Saturday when the welcome Ebbsfleet United in their next league encounter.

Solihull: Boot, Williams, Reckford, Daly, Gudger, Yussuff (Murphy 87), Carline (Hylton 61), Maxwell, Wright, O’Keeffe.
