Clapton assistant manager Wayne Seal praises the Redbridge squad ahead of their clash this evening.

The Tons travel away to Oakside (7.45pm) to face the third-place outfit as they look to make it nine straight wins in the Essex Senior League.

“It’s a huge game, got a lot of respect for Ricky (Eaton),” Seal said.

“He’s got some fantastic players, one of them is Sipho (Lindisipho Mtyanda) who I worked with last year at Ilford and I know that he’s a great player, obviously they’ve got Brian Moses as well so it will be a tough game.

“It will be one of them really old school attacking games, end-to-end.”

Seal believes his side will be confident going into the match but didn’t want to get too ahead of himself with his words.

“It’s a tough game, I’m not to sticking my neck out on that one, as I don’t want it to bite me back.

“I just hope it’s an entertaining game for our fans, for their fans and from my point of view, Jon’s point of view and the boys we’re on a high at the moment so we’re going into every game confident.

“I know the Redbridge boys will be really confident so I’m looking forward to a good game.”

The assistant believes this month is massive for the club and he believes there 3-2 win away to Barkingside set the benchmark.

“Jon’s obviously mentioned about it and that we’ve spoken to the boys about November being a huge month for us.

“We’ve got big games and obviously we’re pleased that we got a win against Barkingside as it sends a marker to the rest of the league that we’ve won, we’re trying to play catch up and if any team does slip up, we’re going to be there or thereabouts.”

Clapton have made three new signings ahead of the fixture who could go into the squad in the form of former Brimsdown Rovers centre-back Johnson Santos, former Rayo Vallecano youth team goalkeeper Santiago Lopez Dovale, as well as another goalkeeper in Ben Hall.
