Thurlow Nunn First Division South: Braintree Town Reserves 0 Newbury Forest 4

Keiron Huddart became Newbury Forest’s youngest-ever scorer after netting the opener in a 4-0 win at Braintree Town Reserves in the Thurlow Nunn First Division South.

Huddart opened the scoring for Forest in the 19th minute when slamming home an unstoppable shot from the edge of the area.

At 16 years and four months, the teenager became the youngest player in the club’s history to net a goal for the first team in a competitive match.

Six minutes into the second half, Forest doubled their lead when Kingdom Dawson teed up Jason Reynolds-Blanch to net.

With 19 minutes remaining, Reynolds-Blanch scored his second of the game from the penalty spot after substitute Scotty Emmons was fouled in the box.

Enoch Freeman rounded out the scoring seven minutes later with a fine solo goal to seal a brilliant win for Forest.

Forest are back in action on Saturday when they visit Halstead Town.
