Barkingside are set to return to action as they take on Woodford Town after having a week off due to being knocked out of the FA Cup.

Michael Walther and his men travel away to Woodford on Saturday and will be hoping to continue their good start to the season.

The Sky Blues will also host league strugglers Burnham Ramblers at Cricklefield Stadium on bank holiday Monday (3pm kick-off).

Both sides have had mixed starts to the season and Barkingside will looking to take advantage of that and keep pushing their way up the Essex Senior League table.

Side have started the campaign with two victories against Great Wakering Rovers and Stansted and a defeat to rivals West Essex.

The club also went out of the FA Cup at the first hurdle with a 4-0 defeat to Eastern Counties League Premier Division outfit Stowmarket Town, which left them with a blank weekend, just two weeks into the season.
