Barkingside handed Daggers tie in Essex Senior Cup

Essex Senior Cup draw revealed

Ryman One North side Barkingside will make the trip to League Two side Dagenham & Redbridge after the draw for the third round of the Essex Senior Cup was made today.

Matt Frew’s side will test their credentials against Wayne Burnett’s outfit, while Essex Senior League side Barking travel to Conference South side Chelmsford City.

Romford will be on the road to Ryman One North rivals Great Wakering, and Jimmy McFarlane’s Hornchurch side will travel to Maldon & Tiptree in a repeat of last season’s fourth round tie, which saw the Urchins emerge 2-1 victors.

Redbridge will host the winners of the second round tie yet to be played between Takeley and Eton Manor

Third Round draw (to be played on or before Saturday November, 1): Concord Rangers vs Colchester United, Witham Town vs Canvey Island, Stanway Rovers vs Brightlingsea Regent, Chelmsford City vs Barking, Hullbridge Sports or Wivenhoe Town vs Aveley, Southend United vs Harlow Town, Redbridge vs Takeley or Eton Manor, Burnham Ramblers vs Bowers & Pitsea, FC Clacton vs Grays Athletic, Dagenham & Redbridge vs Barkingside, Great Wakering Rovers vs Romford, Heybridge Swifts vs Waltham Abbey, Maldon & Tiptree vs AFC Hornchurch, Halstead Town vs Thurrock, Billericay Town vs East Thurrock United, Tilbury vs Braintree Town
