Ryman North: Barkingside 1 Sudbury 3

Barkingside failed to build on an impressive midweek win after losing 3-1 at home to Ryman North promotion hopefuls Sudbury.

The visitors took the lead at Cricklefields Stadium in the 30th minute through Luke Callender to send Side in behind at the break.

But the hosts hit back four minutes after half time when Michael Spencer struck to level the scores.

Suds regained the lead 20 minutes later thanks to a goal from Ryan Henshaw and never looked back as they held on to the end.

Try as they might, Barkingside could not find a way back into the game and Sudbury were able to extend their lead in stoppage time when Craig Parker scored from the spot.
