Wanstead’s women claimed the Southern League title after a maximum-point win over Actonians on Sunday.
Serena Mahandru shone with the ball, taking five wickets for three runs as the hosts were dismissed for 116.
Zainab Khan (55 not out) and Dipti Puthawala (37) put on a big stand in reply to set up for a nine-wicket win inside 20 overs as Wanstead took all 23 points available to pip Harold Wood to top spot.
Captain Saba Nasim said: “It has been a rollercoaster of a season, having lost two games early on due to unavailablity of some players during the exam season and clashes with the girls’ matchplay games.
“But I’m glad we worked well with the players we had and ended the season on a high. This was out first year playing in a 40-over league so to win feels great!
“We have a good mixture of experienced women and talented under-16 girls who also won the matchplay this year. A big thank you to the club for all their support.”
