South Woodford claimed a convincing derby win over Fives & Heronians in their Shepherd Neame Essex League Division Two clash.

Henry Blackwell (42) put on 91 for the first South Woodford wicket with Brad Copper, before falling to Shawn Tuitt, while Lakshan Rodrigo dismissed Copper (67), Joe Craddock (22) and Harry Neicho in quick succession to make it 165-4.

Kasey Harris hit a six and six fours in his 43 off 36 balls, putting on 83 with Jamie Carroll before falling to Jonny Kay.

Carroll went on to score 58 off just 38 deliveries, hitting five sixes and four fours before also falling to Kay (3-41) as South Woodford piled up 301-9.

And Fives lost Terry Ballard to Saihaj Jaspal early in reply, before Harry Shirt trapped Australian Tuitt lbw with the score on 25.

Jaspal (3-33) and Shirt (2-39) had further success to leave the visitors 58-5, before Copper dismissed Gary Norris with the total on 85 and also accounted for Ian Rotsey with Fives just into three figures.

Jake McMullen ran out Ben Britton (28) to leave Fives 107-8, before Kay and Amile Peiris showed some lower-order defiance.

But Copper had Kay (21) stumped by Carroll and dismissed last man Sarfaraz Ahmed to complete a 4-33 haul and 141-run win, as Peiris finished unbeaten on 25.
