South Woodford ended the Shepherd Neame Essex League Division Two season with a convincing win at Harlow Town.

The home side chose to bat after winning the toss and saw their openers put on 32.

But once Indika Wickramaratne made the breakthrough, wickets began to fall at regular intervals, with Harlow collapsing from 52-1 to 78 all out.

Wickramaratne finished with fine figures of 5-22, while Saihaj Jaspal (3-45) and Bradley Copper (2-5) shared the other wickets to fall.

And although South Woodford lost Henry Blackwell, Copper and Jake McMullen cheaply in reply to fall to 37-3, Kasey Harris (29) and Jamal Richards (21 not out) took them closer to their target, before Harry Neicho helped seal a six-wicket win in the 21st over.

A ninth victory of the season ensured South Woodford ended the season in third place, 24 points behind runners-up Fives & Heronians.
