Oakfield Parkonians got the better of 10-man Fives & Heronians in their Essex League Division Two derby.

Visiting captain Jake Poulter chose to bat after winning the toss, but only Carlos Remy (37) and Ali Raza (27 not out) made it out of the teens as they were dismissed for 129 in the 35th over.

Selvam Ramasamy (3-20) was the pick of the Parks attack, while Aman Ali (2-25) and Eshun Kalley (2-28) nabbed braces.

But Parks lost three cheap wickets to Stuart Knapman (3-19), before Dhruv Patel and captain Jibran Azam (29) got the home side on track.

Patel went on to score 63, before falling to Remy (2-26), as Parks secured a four-wicket win in the 22nd over of their reply.

Victory leaves Parks in fourth place at the halfway stage of the season, with Fives two spots back in sixth, and the two sides travel to Hainault and Old Brentwoods respectively next weekend.
