Essex crickets set to take part in interactive Q&A session at local club

Essex’s Ravi Bopara will return to his Hainault & Clayhall home with three other Essex cricketers tonight.

An event takes place this evening from 7pm where members of the public are invited to share their views on how to help make cricket a better experience for all.

Bopara will be joined by Mohammed Amir, Varun Chopra and Ashar Zaidi along with coaches from the county side, with the quartet taking part in an interactive Q&A session before an ECB workshop begins.

The event is an opportunity to help improve the game through feedback, sharing ideas and thoughts on how South Asian communities can be supported in their cricket aspirations.

Of particular interest is the involvement and participation of Afghani, Bangladeshi, Indian, Nepalese, Pakistani and Sri Lankan communities.

Dinner is provided and with limited places available, anyone interested should register for the event by emailing rsvp@ecb.co.uk.
