Parks made the short trip to nearby Loughton and saw Abdul Razzaq (3-7), Paresh Kalley (2-11) and Selvam Ramasamy (2-52) have most success with the ball as the hosts were dismissed for 153.

Loughton slumped to 75-8 before Hamzah Wajid (40) and Jordan Ramsden (31) added vital late runs in a 70-run stand.

And Parks were left to rue that tail-end resistance as they slumped to 33-5 in reply.

Overseas star Ravi Teja Dwaraka held firm, striking seven boundaries to reach 56 off 76 balls.

But the former IPL batsman was dismissed by Bilal Butt with the score on 99 and the efforts of Kalley (30) and Anujan Thiru (20 not out) proved in vain as Parks were dismissed for 133.

Fives travelled to Harlow, who piled up 274-6 in 49 overs thanks to a century from captain Rehman Ahmed.

Jonny Kay (2-69) nabbed a brace for Fives, who were soon in trouble at 14-3 and staring into the abyss at 61-6.

Terry Ballard showed some defiance as he smacked 12 fours in his 58 from 55 balls, but Ian Rotsey (20) was their next highest scorer as Fives were dismissed for 148 in the 29th over.
