Prowting put on 56 for the eighth wicket with Sean Sullivan, before finally succumbing to Ellis-Grewal (2-37) for 70 from 113 balls.

Zain Shahzad struck to leave Chelmsford nine down, with Velani running out last man Tom Halsey to leave Sullivan stranded on 37 and seal a 12-run victory with three balls remaining.
