Woodford Green visit Westcliff-on-Sea in Division Three

Fives & Heronians head for Horndon on the Hill on Saturday in search of a first Shepherd Neame Essex League Division Two win of the season.

The Paddock club lost by 126 runs away to Harlow, despite a half-century from Terry Ballard.

After winning the toss and electing to field, Fives saw Harlow declare on 274-6, despite club chairman Jonny Kay recording figures of 2-31.

Ballard top scored in 58 for the Paddock club in reply, but it proved in vain as the visitors were all out for 148.

*Woodford Green will hope to collect consecutive wins in Shepherd Neame Essex League Division Three when they visit Westcliff-on-Sea this Saturday.

The High Road side beat Basildon & Pitsea at home by six wickets last weekend for their opening league win of the season.

Green saw Amrit Ryatt take 4-49 with the ball, before Hamaad Sayyed (67), Husnain Kazmi (59) and Anthony Palmer (58 not out) all scored half-centuries in reply.
