A look ahead to the best value bets in the weekend’s matches

On the back of two home defeats, the last place West Ham would want to visit this weekend is Liverpool given they are on a 42-game winless streak at Anfield - second only to Stoke’s 48-game winless run at the same ground.

Indeed the Irons have only scored seven goals in their last 30 league visits to Anfield and the Reds are yet to concede in their three fixtures to date, although they couldn’t do what the Hammers did and win at the Emirates on Monday!

Liverpool are 4/11 to keep all three points on Merseyside with Slaven Bilic’s side 8/1 and the draw 17/4 at BetVictor.

The Irons have scored in each of their three league games to date, so the recommendation must be the even money for both sides to find the back of the net.

Leyton Orient are the only club in the Football League with a 100 per cent record after their 3-2 win at Newport County last weekend and they are a shade of odds against (21/20) with BetVictor to maintain that proud statistic.

Orient could be seven points clear of the title favourites Portsmouth on Saturday evening and are 6/5 to be promoted which is the main priority this term.

Dagenham & Redbridge came so close to their first win of the season at Wycombe Wanderers last weekend but they did pick up an excellent first point and they will be looking to build on that against Stevenage this weekend.

Daggers are 23/10 to keep all three points with the visitors 13/10 favourites and the draw 12/5.

Stevenage have conceded five goals in their two away games so far this term and this is a game Dagenham really should get something from.

A 2-1 home win is 12/1 with BetVictor but there is also value in 11/2 for Daggers to win and both sides to score.
