Marcus Bassi Junior made the long trip to North Devon to take on Charlie Ludwell from host club Barnstaple.

The home fighter came charging at Bassi from the first round, but the Gator boxer avoided his attacks with some well-polished defensive skills.

And Bassi landed some eye-catching combinations of his won on the way to claiming a points win at the end of a pulsating contest to ensure a happy return trip.

Closer to home, Jay Hellis took on S Kosev (London Military) in Bromley and won all three rounds comfortably, hitting his opponent with a flurry of straight shots.
