There was plenty to celebrate for local clubs in their latest Thurlow Nunn League outings in Division One South on Saturday.

Hutton claimed a 3-1 win over Brimsdown at Billericay Town's New Lodge ground to remain in fourth place, as Clapton Community battled to a 1-1 draw at Basildon Town.

And Barkingside ran out 5-3 winners over Southend Manor, while Clapton claimed a 3-1 victory at Hoddesdon Town and Tower Hamlets were 2-0 winners at Burnham Ramblers.

Enfield Borough had a day to forget, though, as they fell to a 6-1 defeat at Cannons Wood.

Hutton had suffered back-to-back defeats at Clapton and Hackney Wick but rallied to claim their seventh win in 10 outings following their promotion to step six.

Clapton Community fell behind to a Basildon Town penalty, after Adil Ali was adjudged to have tripped a rival, and saw Arthur Wright twice go close before Adam Sidky headed an equaliser from a James Briggs corner.

Josh George was dismissed for two bookable offences in the second half, though, and Jack Francis produced a brilliant save from a free-kick to keep the 10 men on terms.

Muhammad Mikaeel had an effort blocked on the line at the other end, while Briggs saw a free-kick evade a stretching Joel Akuwudike, who then sent in a cross which Sherwin Stanley could not convert.

Barkingside had won just once in nine outings since their opening day success at May & Baker and fell behind after just four minutes against Manor at Cricklefields.

But Frederick Agyemang got them back on terms and would find the net again before Oswald Nyahunda sealed the points four minutes from time.

David McGrath netted twice for Clapton at Hoddesdon as they claimed their third successive win, with Jaden Owusu-Nepaul also on target.

And Tower Hamlets returned from Burnham with the points after Nasereldene Crespo and Solomon Asomah - with his 10th of the season - sealed a 2-0 win.

Enfield Borough conceded four times in 23 minutes at Cannons Wood and saw the hosts net again early in the second half.

And Samuel Aggrey-Adams was dismissed for two bookable offences, as Evan Conboy claimed a consolation goal in their 6-1 loss.

Newbury Forest host Harlow Town on Tuesday, while May & Baker welcome Hutton on Wednesday as Tower Hamlets and Clapton meet at Mile End Stadium.
