Leyton Orient manager Kenny Jackett is extremely pleased with his choices up front as the forwards have all started to chip in with goals.
The O’s will travel away to Bristol Rovers on Saturday as they look to build on their positive start to the League Two campaign.
Harry Smith, Aaron Drinan, and Theo Archibald have been impressive while Ruel Sotiriou, Dan Kemp, Tyrese Omotoye, and Dan Nkrumah are also options up front along with the injured Paul Smyth.
“He (Theo Archibald) has and a nice left-foot as well. He does combine well with Harry Smith and Aaron Drinan. It’s a good front three. Also behind that we have some good players. Ruel Sotiriou scored a fantastic goal here before going away with Cyprus under-21s.
“Dan Kemp has come on, who was unlucky to not score at the end, but I'm pleased Harry Smith followed it up.
“Tyrese Omotoye, Dan Nkrumah, there is players and depth in that area which is good and what we’re going to need.”
Archibald is on a season-long loan deal from League One side Lincoln City and is quickly becoming a fans favourite.
“He’s on a season-long loan, that’s the situation, but we’ll see what the future brings. He’ll be with us this year and that’s what we’re concentrating on at the moment.
“We have been pleased with him and if you’ve got a song that does help you in terms of being a footballer and a forward.”
Jackett has also revealed they hope to have defender Shadrach Ogie back in contention for the clash after self-isolating due to a positive Covid test.
“He’ll be back next week. He’s missed time now and as a club we have to do everything correctly. He has no symptoms what so ever and feels absolutely fine, which is good.”
Defender Adam Thompson is expected to return to training once again after a set-back on his return from injury as Smyth remains side lined at present.
Other than that the boss appears to have everyone else in his squad at his disposal for selection which could help with the Papa John’s Trophy fixtures starting up.
