Green Party candidate for Ilford North
Job: Insurance broker
As a former member of the Labour Party, I would once have expected Labour to present a robust alternative to the current spiteful and incompetent government – but instead all they are offering is more of the same, persisting with the policies of austerity which have led to a fall in real wages for most workers and driven hundreds of thousands of British people to food banks.
At this election I urge voters to turn their backs on the tactical voting that brought us the coalition government, and instead vote for what they believe in – not for politics as usual, but for a party that offers a radically different approach, based on sustainability, social justice, and greater equality and fairness.
I am married with two teenage children. I am a graduate of Oxford University and work as an insurance broker, and I have been a member of the Green Party for over 10 years.
