A second 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with a murder investigation after a 19-year-old was stabbed to death in Goodmayes.

The teenager was arrested on Friday last week in connection with the death of Ziggy Worrell-Owusu.

The Metropolitan Police launched an investigation after 19-year-old Ziggy died after being knifed in the stomach in Goodmayes, while attending a private party at Basement Bar Shisha Lounge, Goodmayes Road.

Emergency services arrived at 12.40am and found him with stab wounds to the stomach. He was taken to hospital, where medics battled to save him, but he was pronounced dead an hour later.

Both teenagers have been bailed to return at a date in December.
