Youngsters showed off their best Bollywood moves in a playground performance for parents and families.

SS Peter and Paul’s Catholic Primary School, Gordon Road, Ilford, hosted the event last week, with around 400 pupils from all year groups taking part.

Deputy headteacher Jane Hull said: “It was absolutely fantastic. The kids thoroughly enjoyed it, it was a beautiful sunny day.

“All the teachers joined in, they loved it. It was great.”

The event was the culmination of a series of workshops run by Kalpesh Zalavadiya from K’z Dance Entertainment and organised by the school’s PE lead Victoria Woodhouse.
