A young football fan got the opportunity of a lifetime when he walked out at Wembley Stadium with the England team.
Payton Brown, eight, of Whitehall Road, Woodford Green, won the chance to walk out onto the pitch in front of almost 90,000 people last week with the England team took on Brazil.
It was a fantastic day out for Payton, who as a McDonald’s Player Escort walked out with Danny Welbeck ahead of their match with one of the world’s greatest footballing nations.
Payton, who won the place after entering a national competition, said “It was so loud when I walked out, and I felt really nervous but very excited.
“I also got to meet Roy Hodgson and Bobby Charlton before the match.”
