Children at Cranbrook Primary School, Mansfield Road, Ilford were in for a shock when they welcomed the world’s tallest couple.
The primary schools pupils invited Wilco and Keisha Kleef-Bolton, the current Guinness World Record holders for being the world’s tallest couple who measure in at 7ft and 6ft 5in, last week.
Wendy Hutchinson, marketing manager at the school said: “The children have been learning about measurement and we linked the visit into our PHSE lessons where we talk about being different and how people relate to others, that are different to us.”
The Key Stage 1 pupils spent time talking to the couple as well as posing for pictures.
