Free portraits are being offered by the Woodford & Wanstead Photographic Society as part of the Wanstead Art Trail.

The society will set up a studio on Saturday, at Wanstead House Community Association’s open day.

Sitters will then have their portraits emailed to them.

Dave Tyrrell, spokesman for the club, invited people to get involved with the photographic society and its social events.

He said: “Come along three times before joining to see what it is you like.”

Mr Tyrrell described the club as being very friendly and comprised of people of all ages and photographic skills.

A variety of images showcasing the work of members of the society will also be shown.

The Woodford and Wanstead Photographic society is one of the oldest clubs in the UK.
