Woodford Green school has best results yet with annual cake sale

The annual cake sale held by members of Cavell House at Avon House Preparatory School, Woodford Green, on Thursday of last week, raised over £300 for the NSPCC – their best result yet.

A special cake was made by Maya Gupta which was given as a prize for the guess the weight of the cake competition.

The winner was Year 5’s Hanna Kalo with her guess of 3.5 kg. The actual weight of the cake was just over 3.1 kg.
