Woodford Green school given approval to build three-storey extension

The planning application to extend a Woodbridge High School, in St Barnabas Road, Woodford Green has been approved.

The secondary school applied for a new three storey building as well as a playcourt which was given the go ahead at last week’s Redbridge council regulatory committee.

The extension of the school will bring the population of the pupils almost to 2,000 with 21 new members of staff.

The new block will be used for history, drama ICT and will include a new auditorium.
